BEDINI SOLAR CHARGER - 48 HOURS UNTIL OPENING UP FOR PRE-ORDERS

On the 28th, we plan to to open for pre-orders for the S3A12 Bedini Solar Charge Controller v5.1. It is a 3 amp 12v solar charge controller, which is perfect for a 50 watt solar panel that gives a max loaded voltage (VMP) of 18.0 to 18.5 volts. 18.5 is preferable but it is difficult to find panels with that much VMP where the max short circuit current is limited to 3.0 amps. This is the charge controller you want that will get your batteries to a voltage that will allow them to last way longer than other controllers on the market. The countdown might show something different than a countdown to the 28th - trying to get the timezone situation fixed but anyway, on the 28th, we'll open for pre-sales.

Although we offered a model that can push flooded cell batteries to 15.1-15.3 volts with a proper panel in full light, we may only offer the new release that will push sealed gel cells, AMG and LiFePo4 batteries to 14.7-14.8 volts, which is where those need to be pushed in order to give them extended life. Those three batteries are what most people are using anyway for small scale systems that would use a 50 watt solar panel.

2021 ENERGY SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE - TICKET SALES OPENING SOON

We're finalizing the details with the conference's venue and as soon as that is done, which is probably by the end of the week, we'll confirm a few more presenters. We expect to open up for ticket sales by the end of February. The ESTC will be at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, which is about 50 minutes from the Spokane (Washington) International Airport - airport code: GEG.

There will be onsite camping allowed and there is also an RV park with and without power. If you are going to want an RV spot, plan to reserve your spot ASAP because there are 2 other events at the fairgrounds the same weekend. The shower facility is complete so for those who are camping in tents, that will be available to you.

So far, the schedule planned is for a 5 day conference from July 7 to 11, 2021 with a lot of presentations and demonstrations.
